Isak Wisløff (NO)
Isak Wisløff (born in 1989) resides and operates in Oslo, Norway. Wisløff's artistic practice is characterized by its multifaceted and interdisciplinary nature.
In collaboration with three fellow artists, he actively participates in the management of Hulias, an artist-run off-space located in Oslo. Additionally, Wisløff contributes to the field of education as an Assistant Professor at the Oslo National Academy of the Arts. His practice primarily focuses on paintings and sculptures that involve a range of materials and techniques. Three key principles form the conceptual framework of his work: recognizing that every individual is composed of flesh, guts, and bones; acknowledging that everyone engages in the consumption of goods and culture; and understanding that everyone possesses a spiritual dimension in some form.
