Øyvind Bast (NO)
Øyvind Bast Lie works with several techniques, but with a focus on sculpture. By using traditional techniques and materials such as clay, plaster, stone and bronze, he retrieves components and fragments from a fictional space. The works often contain cultural-historical references – both from architecture, art, religion, building practices and folk art.
Øyvind runs the artist-run exhibition space Hulias in Oslo together with Isak Wisløff, Jørn Aagaard and Mads John Thomseth.
